Mrs. Choate’s 1st graders finished up their Science unit on engineering and design process by designing, building, and testing the strength of their structures against a strong storm (aka the blow dryer).
Pre-K is visiting the library today!!!
Mrs. Bader is teaching a super engaging lesson with her first graders to remind them not to get “hooked” when others try to get a reaction with negative behavior. #CounselorInAction
2nd Grade is practicing narrative writing. Mrs. Brown's class is working together to explain the details in their stories and make sure they haven't missed anything. Mrs. Kristek's students are circle writing, all at the same time, as many details about their topics as they can!

Some of our 2nd grade classes have been working on our problem solving and teamwork skills with a nonfiction text features themed digital breakout. They had so much fun thinking outside the box to solve the puzzles. See the pictures to find the teams that broke out!
It’s a great day to be a leader at Pate! Today marks the kick-off of our first Leader Club! Our Community Time Leaders took over the microphone today. I was so happy to pass this along to the great leaders in 2nd grade!
