Intruder Response Training at Aurora R8 district buildings.
Tuesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 31 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m, a planned training in partnership with our School Resource Officers, School Protection Officers, and the Aurora Police Department will take place at school buildings throughout the district. The training is required for local police department staff and school resource officers.
Please note that there may be a visible law enforcement presence at district buildings on those dates. This training is part of our continued efforts to prioritize safety, improve response procedures, and support strong collaboration with local agencies.
